Superintendent of Public Works

 

Superintendent of Public Works to manage all municipal public works operations, supervise

work force of approximately 25+ employees. Responsible for planning, coordinating and overall administration of streets, fleet maintenance, public building maintenance and parks & grounds maintenance. Superintendent shall also be familiar with preparation of contract proposal specifications/bid specifications related to public works projects and equipment. The successful candidate should have five years (5) of supervisory experience in the construction, maintenance

and repair of streets, or other public work facilities or similar heavy construction or maintenance

work. Candidate shall also hold a Certified Public Works Manager Certificate (CPWM), as issued

through the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
