High Wind Standards; ASEC 7-05, SSTD 10-99, WFCM 2001

 

2003 IECC, Must pass by 2% or more

 

It is acceptable to submit one set of unsealed plans for review and after plans have been approved two sets of sealed plans for permit to be issued.

o        Use Group

o        Construction Type

o        Codes and Standards designed to Wind Speed and exposure

o        Occupancy Load and egress requirements if applicable

o        Location and Spacing for all High Wind connectors

o        Nailing schedule for High Wind including shingles and siding

o        Design pressures for main wind force resistance system

o        Components and cladding

o        Windows and Garage Doors

o        Testing Agency and number for all fire resistive assemblies

o        Protection of all membrane-through and in-wall penetrations

o        Installation instructions for all mechanical equipment

o        HVAC calculations and plans

o        Plumbing riser diagram

o        Electric plan

o        Cut sheets for all fire stopping products and fire dampers
