Drew swore in newly elected Committeemember F. Nathan Doughty Jr. for a three-year
term.
On motion by Committeemember
Leusner seconded by Committeemember DeLanzo and passed on roll call, F. Nathan
Doughty Jr. was chosen as Mayor for the year 2006. Assemblyman Jefferson Van Drew swore in
the Mayor.
On motion by Committeemember
DeLanzo seconded by Mayor Doughty and passed on roll call, Charles M. Leusner
was chosen to act as Mayor in the absence of the Mayor. Committeemember Leusner
will be sworn in at a later date.

ORDINANCE NO.
1212-06 – AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF THE OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MIDDLE - On motion by Committeemember Leusner
seconded by Committeemember DeLanzo and passed on roll call, Ordinance No
1212-06 passed first reading. Second reading, public hearing and consideration
for adoption will be held on 02/06/2006 at 6:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO.
2-06 – APPOINTMENT TO POSITIONS UNDER THE BID THRESHOLD – On motion
by Committeemember Leusner seconded by Committeemember DeLanzo and passed on
roll call, the following resolution was adopted.
WHEREAS, the Township has determined that the value
of the following contracts will not exceed $17,500.00, and
WHEREAS, the Local Public Contract Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:
11-1 et seq.) provides for the award of contracts for professional services
without advertising for bids, and
WHEREAS, these
